Tisha Outre 12/29/2011
I parted my hair from behind ear , to behind ear pulled forward braided the ends, put a hair elastic on it and for the back I bought it the side and put an elastic band on it.
I washed it first with Aphogee Shampoo for damaged hair :)
So much mook came out my hair ewwwww, guess I haven't used a sulphate shampoo in a minute it was in need of some type of stripping.
I rinsed then washed my hair with Wen Fig 2 times.
I rinsed then applied Nexxus Emergencee for 20 minutes. Rinsed and applied Alter Ego on my roots, and ends then applied Proclaim Hydrating masque to my ends. Steamed it in for 15 minutes, then let it sit for 1 hour.
Rinsed it out put in my Dudley's PCA, Aphogee Green Tea, and Buriti Oil.
Sat under the dryer for 10 minutes, blow dried the rest out. Applied Kerapro elixar.
Parted off a slight bang. Gathered my hair in a low ponytail, braided it up. Applied the Elastic Band at the tip. Rolled it in a oval bun, then used my Goody UP DO maker as a bobby pin :) I love this thing. It is huge and I only need one instead of like 100000000 bobby pins LOL
I then put on my new Favorite half wig but Outre "TISHA" :)
I enjoyed her hope you do too :)
My hair felt great after washing, other then my scalp being extremely sore. :(
At the washing point my hair was so sore, I thought it was going to be sores in it but nothing but pain and a little redness. :/
My hair felt very strong afterwards. My plan is to do this again in 2 weeks. Nothing different. I will be doing half wigs and pony tails until........................

December to remember 2011 - SET BACK
My crafts are off, my Holiday decorations are nil and my Christmas cards aren't even out. WIll do that later today and only about 6 cards going out instead of my usual 24. :/
HUH, I tried prepooing on dry hair for a second time. This time I was very sick. I just knew my scalp was itchy. I prepooed on dry hair, was tired and slept in it over night. Or tried to sleep. I tossed and turned all night long. Scratched my head.....
Next evening (I was winded during the morning) I went to wash my hair and it was a matted mess, :( From the roots to the middle, the ends were the only thing not matted. I detangled and the mat moved from the roots/middle to the ends and in my hands. My hair is now 2/3rds less then what I started the year off with. I am super upset.
I know being upset won't change anything. I am giving myself a perscription of Nexxus Emergencee every 2 weeks. DRC as needed. Back pony with 2 bands and covered with a half wig. Of course I will do all my Deep conditioning and leave in's as well.
I won't be buying but maybe 6 items for 2012. I don't want to buy anymore hair supplies until the I have went through the ones I have. I say 6 because I might still need gels and styling products.
I will be washing my hair every 1-2 weeks now. It really needs to be left ALONE!
I figure the less hair I lose due to manipulation maybe I can get back some of my bulk.
I can't believe what happened to me.>..... I know I am harping on it.
I saw another LHCF sister and was kinda embarrassed due to my thin strands. She was nice and said nice things to make me feel better. Inside I was like dying. LOL
Anywho, I will take a picture next time I wash my hair, I won't post it until May, then I will post Mays pic along side it. My new picture taking will be January, May, December.
I will blog my Repair of 2012 Journey every 4 months.

FUN (or should I say Fat) TIME IS OVER - June 2011
I weight 135 lbs. Yes I put it out there I am 5'2" and to me I look FAT. I have a FAT butt with Fatt Thighs and A waist line to match. I am SOOOOO Tired of my oldest brother bothering me about my size, when he looks 7 months pregnant. The fact that my own weight bothers me puts my sensitivity out there as well. Not to mention my cousin who we tease and poke also bothers me about my weight. I have had four kids and look better then any woman they bring forward. No disrespect to the wives or girl friends. :)
BUT....... How the hell do I keep my hair from looking a HOT MESS! You knew I was going to hair on this right? LOL
Must I wash my hair daily?, I don't want to do that.
I will also be posting my weight loss journey here :)
135lbs and 25 to go :)

Don't Skimp on the Products - June 17, 2011
OKAY, Guess what Happened. I love and Adore Silk Elements Megasilk. I adore it love it and it leaves my hair moisturized for real. So what happens, I actually started to develope a hate for it. Not moisturizing my hair. Feeling blah. I realized I am skimping on my product. SOooooo. I part my hair like I use to and take a small section like I am relaxing, I put conditioner in my hand and this is on towel lightly dried hair, and put ample conditioner on from root to tip. I added a little dropper of Wen Fig Oil to my hand and focused on my ends and then worked my way up with the slight bit left on. Used my conditioning cap for two hours and rinsed.
UBBER SOFT HAIR! Amazing, just like Silk Elements. After rinsing I did use my Favorite Aphogee 2 Minute. Leave in's consisted of Aphogee Green Tea spray about 8 sprays, aphogee leave in 4 sprays, & dudleys PCA and a dime sized amount.
I used my Tangle Teezer to do first detangling then my large rake comb. This is to not put so much wear and tear on my Teezer. It does get weaker with time. I get better detangling with a fresh out the box Teezer, my cat Tabitha inherited my Old Tangle Teezer. I have been using mine since December 2010 and no it hasn't cut my hair up, it offers me great detangling. Just have to invest in about 2 per year :( which it was once a year LOL

May 31, 2011 - Wen it is!
I FINALLY ordered the WEN FIG :) QVC has their Gallon containers on sale right now, so go get yours if you are a Wen Head. :)
I am ubber excited to get it. I gave my sister Two Hair Ones for her Bday not because I don't like it. I love it better than the WEN Sweet Almond Mint. While the Sweet Almond Mint is smooth going on, it isn't as moisturizing as the HO-OO after rinsing. I washed with it after not using it for about 2 1/4 months and yes I could tell my hair knew I hadn't used HO-OO. My strands were happy.
I will be exclusively using the Wen Fig and try to purchase the Gallon Every Year to every other year.
End of June, All of July, August, & September I will be either rocking a Half Wig or my Lace Fronts which I so dearly miss. :)
I have been doing so well on my NO BUY of any Fake Hair challenge. I just felt I needed it and the Bets just put the extra Zing in the pot ;)
I am changing my diet of not eatting, eatting bad, drinking lots of soda and all the other bad habits to....
Eatting more regulary, drinking more water, less snacking on unhealthy food, some soda here and there, and taking vitamins.
My hair isn't really growing to me, but this is the slower period of life for my hair, it blooms in the later months September - December I get a bulk of my growth and a medium bulk January - March. April - August is basically a dead month for my hair. I don't notice it. Maybe during those months I will take some extra Vitamins. Go figure ..... LOL
Wen it is. Will be posting pics of my new do's wigs and all as I change them up and wear them.

Moisture Love - May 26, 2011
I hope everyone is enjoying this hot brutal weather. I am not. LOL
I will be started a new Sewing Class for about 7 Months so my Sewing blog will get some more love :)
As Everyone knows I have been using Henna now and have used it monthly. I am switching that to bi-monthly so my hair doesn't dry out. It seems that by the time I put it in and have to go through the arkward stage, I am looking and my calendar says it is now time to Henna Again. So..... I am going to try every other month.
Last night I washed my hair with Hair One Olive Oil :) Ooooh I have missed thee. LOL
I have been using Wen Sweet Almond Mint. I do love the after Effects of Hair One. :) I like Wen and really want to try the Fig. My next shipment of Wen is in September. Unfortunately Guthy Ranker doesn't carry FIG :(
I have noticed my hair seems a little dryer then normal and used my Aphogee 2 minute to give my hair that little boost of protein, ORS replenishing pak to give it that boost of moisture as that is how it works for me, then after all was said and done, I used my PCA WOW, my hair felt so SOFT, I sprayed some Aphogee Green tea and my hair still felt like a rose petal.
Today it feels so Moisturized it is unbelievable. I am really happy I tried Dudley products again after all these years. Their products are absolutely amazing. I love the way my hair feels right now. :) Can't wait to try it again next week. Off to baseball I go. :)

Confessions of a PJ - May 9, 2011
Here I go.....
I love shopping. I am an addict to shopping and my addiction moves from one thing to the next like a fatal disease. BUtt...... We are here to talk about my Product Addiction and how I am getting a grip on it. I have been trying to get this grip and have been doing well for about a year. Sometimes I fall back into crazy for a day or two but I get right back up.
Right now I am using up several products that are on their death bed in my stash. I will use my space here to just put it out there. LOL I find out when I say it out loud it comes to past.
In no certain order:
- Argan Oil- Barely any left
- Wen Re- Moist Intensitve Hair Treatment - One use left
- Wen Hair Cleanser - about 2-3 washes left
- KeraCare Wrap Foam - Half a bottle Left
- Wen Styling Creme - Half the container left
- Amla Oil - Scared to use the little bit I have. It is knocking on heavens door right now.
- Aphogee & Green Tea Restructurizer - Half Bottle Left, but this will last me the rest of the year most likely
- Herstyler Serum - Half Way gone - Might last 6 more months
Amazingly all of this but maybe the Amla oil and possibly the Argan Oil will not be repurchased. I like the Buriti oil better because it is weightless and the Herstyler serum is weightless too. Sometimes you want the extra weight but the Keracare Oil Sheen with Humidity block does an excellent job of giving me some weight. Soooooo Once the Amla is gone, I will continue with my Vatika Oil. Argan Oil I have a stash of 2 more so I have time to decide on that factor.
I will not be cracking open my Alter Ego Garlic conditioner just yet. Y? Because I am going to use the Porosity Control with my Silk Elements Moisturizing Deep Conditioner Megasilk and give that a Boost. My hair loves the combo for a few hours. Then I will rollerset again. Me and Mr. are totally getting the hang of it. :)
August I might Relax my hair again to keep to my schedule of relaxing. Dunno only time will tell.

Henna & Indigo Again Again Again - April 24, 2011
I henna'd yesterday about 12:30 p.m. I Steamed it for 45 minutes and left it on overnight and washed it out this morning. I didn't clarify my hair like normal before applying henna.
Today I washed out the Henna and used Indigo on towel Dried Hair. I steamed my Indigo in for about 45 minutes as well and then left it on for about 2 hours.
The think I did different this time was rinse for about 30 minutes after my henna and 30 minutes after my indigo. I applied several conditioners as well as Washing with HSH Chocolate Soy Milk Shampoo, and with WEN. I DC'd with a splash of Vatika for about 45 minutes under the steamer. I rinsed that out well and brushed through with my Tangle Teezer after using my Rake Comb this time.
I lost a little more hair than normal butttttttt.... I also just got a fresh relaxer. So it is expected.
One of my wonderful kids closed my vents on my Steamer and I didn't know so it was scolding my scalp. Felt like someone scrambled eggs on it. LOL (not really LOL, it hurts)
My hair still felt like it was tugging even though I washed twenty times and rinsed for so long. Not as bad as usual though. I got less residue on my Tangle teezer. I usually get a black waxy build :/
THENNNNNNNNN:::::::
My dear Husband helped me to rollerset. I was getting utterly frustrated parting the first two rollers was the easy part. Then came the 3rd and 4th. I had about 7 rollers in and I wasn't pleased past the first two. SOoooooo I had these large 2.5 rollers and the Hair wouldn't be nice. Once my husband came in and started to help me it was smooth sailing. I got under my dryer for about 45 minutes then went outside in the nice sun for about 2 hours. Came back in and removed them. :) To my suprise I had a wonderful bouncy Rollerset. I wrapped it up and put two pumps of Buriti Oil and and put my satin cap on and my Nostrom Head Wrap. I took it off my wrap is tighter than a virgin out the womb LOL.
I love it and most of all I am so glad I can come together with my husband to do something I love and he loves to see me in.
:)
My Henna and Indigo Came out well :)

Wen Review, New purchase, Oils & More April 20, 2011
I looked in the discovery kit and found a Hair cleanser 12 oz., A texture Balm, A styling Creme and the Remoist Intense Treatment.
I wet my hair the same way I'd prepare to use my Hair One, I applied some rubbed the Hair Cleanser through and splashed again. rubbing it more as it foamed up very well. I washed my hair with this one to two times and well..... I love it. I think it is definitely softened my hair up a little more than Hair One. It brings out the best in my natural hair. Makes the Curls pop like no other.
I love the Wen Texture Balm for the control. I rub this in my palm and then rub hands together before applying this to my hair line. It keeps them in check.
I don't really care for the Styling cream at all. Nope. It was like rubbing nothing on my hair. No added benefit, basically to me a waste of space. Will try it with my Roller sets. Meh...
The Wen Re Moist Intensive Hair Treatment worked well as I left it on over night after doing my Henna. I want to give a different review of using this on a normal basis not after doing a Henna. Yet, I like it even after that.
The WEN comb is lousy and I hate it. It is pure garbage to me. I own a Bone Comb/seamless comb and this was nothing to compare. I don't use it.
HENNA- I love Henna. A few blogs ago I let you see my mix and it in my hair. Henna for me is the Best thing since Sliced cheese. I love it. I look forward to my monthly coloring. Yes for me it is a double dooer. ;)
I mix it with a conditioner to make sure I get a great conditioning effect from it. This month April 30 I will be doing a Henna and indigo 2 step. I will sleep in the Henna Overnight to get a good set in color. I will also be mixing a fresh batch to see if it works differently then letting it sit in the freezer.
Henna is all new to me but I am trying to see what works best and when. or Wen LOL
Oils Oils Oils, My Henna is going to have some new oils to add into it. They raised the price Of Amla Oil and I am now trying the Vatika Oil. I have a new Henna Recipe which removes the Amla since Vatika has it in there and replaces with Vatika.
I bougth some Buriti Oil from Sallys. I am still loving the Argan oil but a little mad they raised their prices. Yet when you compare the Argan to the price of the Morrocan oil. I will head for the Argan any day. Plus it works wonderfully.
I will be leaving a review on both oils in a future Blog. How I love or don't love them and how I use them.
DO YOU Want a review or a Blog on something I haven't Blogged on already? Let me know :)

Back up in Braids - March 15, 2011
Before I got braided this is what I did to my hair.
Washed with Hair One Tea Tree, 10 minutes Rinsed
Washed with Wen Sweet Almond Mint 10 minutes Rinsed
Applied Aphogee 2 minute under a self heated cap for about 2o minutes
Applied ample Silk Elements Megasilk Moisturizing Treatment left that one for a few hours under a Self Heated Cap
Rinsed and applied my usual - Aphogee Leave In, Aphogee green tea, Herstyler Hair Serum, Argan Oil One and Only. Air Dried due to the beautiful weather, then blow dried with heat to get it straight. Up into a bun it went until I had it braided and now.....
I am going to be up for 3 weeks and enjoy my week. :)
My Braid out was a BUST, HUH!
Again.
I have to master this technique I just do.
I am currently 37 weeks post. :)
I am actually losing about 10 hairs per wash, which brings me back to the days when I lost so little hair. I am happy about that.

A Henna to Remember - March 3, 2011
Indigo - from Allindiastore.com
I am no longer a Henna Virgin. I mixed my henna about 2 weeks ago. I added 2 cups of hot black tea, Paprika, Yes to carrots mud mask, sugar, Amla Oil and orange juice splash. I froze it and took it out today, I washed dried and applied my henna generously. I left it on for 4 hours, Rinsed well with a conditioner I don't use. Washed with Motions Shampoo, and rinsed.
I applied the Indigo, left on for 1 and a half hours. NOW that was a beast, I mixed it way to thin, just water seamed to thick at first then I emptied the rest but it seemed like to much. I applied it and then placed a cap. I felt like I was wiping my neck for ages and my face. I was so glad to rinse it out. I let Mr. feel it. He said it felt rough but strong. I washed it with Hair one Cleanser. Rinsed well and shampooed with HO Argan oil again. Rinsed and steamed 30 minutes with Alter Ego Garlic Conditoner. BUTTERY soft, Needed to make sure my moisture level was up so I put in Silk Elements Megasilk Moisturizing Treatment for 2 hours.
My hair still felt like it had build up so I waited 3 days until after the oxidation period was over.
I whipped out my WEN and pumped several pumps into my hand. Then proceeded to cleanse my hair. I detangled added Wen Intensive Re Moist Treatment for 15 hours overnight, I rinsed it after leaving it on overnight and then applied ALTER EGO garlic conditioner for 3-4 hours. I rinsed and WOW oh what a feeling.
THE HENNA was now leaving my hair to a beautiful state and the color was so gentle and not box color looking.
I was a little dissappointed before rewashing my hair. Afterwards Now I can't wait for my next Henna!
Please feel free to visit www.mehandi.com this site gives you a free print out of wonderful directions on how to do this process. Everyone does it differently and you will tweek it the way you choose to after learning the basics.
No Drama Just this Lovely Gals honest opinion.

UP and Coming - 2/16/2011
- HENNA - First time experience
- Braid outs
- Bantu Knot outs
- Bunning of some sort
- Soft Roller sets :)
I mixed my henna. I bought two I bought Lush Caca Noir and Jamila Henna from the indian grocer. I mixed the Jamila with Hot Black tea, Paprika, Amla oil 2 caps full, Sugar, Yes to carrots ( a conditioner that I am not repurchasing but must use up). It was definitely looking like sick poop. I stirred it up and at the end cut and orange squoze it into the mix, stirred it again and then put the top on it to sitfor a few hours. After the color came to I sat it in the freezer. I won't be using this concoction until July, I know so long away. I was just very excited watching videos and I was very amped up LOL
March I will not be wigging it, YAY, and the crowd cheers. I will be trying my hand again at braid outs. I will also be doing Bantu Knot outs but those I do with ease, Soft roller sets- again no issue, and I will be whipping out my spin pins and bunning for fun.
I will post pictures :) Of my mix, my styles and more. One day I will be able to do videos and that will be awesome for now, I will talk and type you to death. Smile with me please.
My review for March will be on Lush Henna Caca Noir. Until Next time.

Tangle TEEZER - Is it the Crowd Pleaser? :) - February 9, 2011
The Tangle Teezer claims to be great for kids, carefree detangling, smooth cuticles, and work for all hair types.
This Palm sized computer mouse with fragile teeth.... Yeah it is suppose to do all of these things and it looks like this. Hmmmmm.
Well upon taking it out of the pack I figured hey I bought it; might as well give it a try.
So I did.
I wet my hair washed it with my Hair One OO, grabbed my TT and brushed through my hair. Boy did it just glide through. Okay that could have been a fluke, so I put on my DC got under the steamer and when done rinsed and brushed through again. THIS TOOL is kinda Noisy and scary it may sound like it is ripping through your hair, but ripping through it is not. It is a sound tool but very much of the tool they advertise.
AWESOME, I lost less hair than if I used my Jumbo Rake Comb.
I have used this about 4 times now, and own quite a few. I have the same quality of detangling every time.
My best test was when I came from under braids that I had in for 3 weeks. Usually I get a sink full of hair larger than a golf ball balled up but slightly small than a baseball. NOT COOL.
I took my braids out gently and then immediately ran my TT through. Within 3 passes per spot my hair was detangled like I used some expensive quality detangler. This item is so worth the cash $10. I lost less hair and barely any when washing.
This Tangle Teezer is DEFINITELY a Crowd pleaser. If you haven't tried it you should. I was a doubter and a Non-Believer. I am now changed and SO HAPPY I did.
