115 lbs - January 24, 2012

So I weighted in this Monday, I am 115 lbs

21% Body Fat
34 % Muscle
4.2% bone mass
55% Water

I am trying to get my body fat down 1% (to 20%) and my muscle up 1% as well to (35%). I am now lifting weights to build more muscle if I can. I am doing several exercises, Elliptical, Zumba 1 and Zumba 2, Wii Fit, Jilllian Michaels Get Ripped 30, Jillian Michaels 6 weeks abs, and I am so sure I will be buying more Jillian Michael programs because they get results and make things interesting :).

I am super excited My abs are also coming together, They are a working progress for this Mom of four :)


Edited: Just wanted to include in 2008 I was 117 lbs. But My Body fat was over 32%. I heard someone say they didn't think it was possible. It is possible and my Trainer DOUBLE CHECKED to make sure and was shocked himself. As we all know that body fat percentage was saying I was obese, even though my scale wasn't. For Sure I didn't feel sexy! Don't ask what my muscle was at the time, they probably didn't exist (joking, kinda)


  1. Congrats to you. I was trying to remember if I was ever 115lbs. I love your post it is so inspiring. Mom of four??? I have a new sense of motivation and excitement. I use Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, Denise Austin Get Fit Fast and Zumba Exhilirate Set. I hadn't even heard of Jillian M. Abs workout. I'll check that out.
    How often do you work out? I workout 3 days a week. Do you alternate the days and levels of the workout or do them daily. I can seem to push myself past level one.

      I am 5'2 and after four kids I was 98 lbs, my baby is 6 today, in 5 years I gained over 35 lbs. Was headed in the danger Zone.

      My exercises I definitely change as needed because the muscles get use to the same work outs. I work out 3-5 days a week and I do multiple sessions. Sometimes I work out during the day, then I work out in the evening, and might do some straight leg sit ups before bed. I feel each work out puts me one step closer to where I want to be.

      Jillian's week four gave me a sense of accomplishment, Sad I know but I put myself through weeks of body pain, and as she said if I could do that I can do anything. My Abs are SORE as all get out right now. BUT I know that is a good thing.

      Make sure your eating right. I VOUCH FOR Weight Watchers program I think it is an amazing TOOL when done right and with Exercise it is a NO LOSE situation. Give it you all as my girl says, GIVE ME ALL YOU GOT! Don't Phone it in! Just give me all you got!

    1. Ebony your beautiful as is but if this is something you wanted to do; I am so sure if I can do it, ANYONE CAN.

      I was so ANti-EXERCISE. I didn't believe in moving anything in a gym but my feet out the door. LOL

      Now It is a habit I enjoy. Sometimes I don't but I still make myself go. I don't feel complete unless I get 3 work outs a week, when I go hard like now I push up to 5. :)
